It’s all about supplying beautiful flowers to beautiful people for the proprietor of The Little Flower Company. Here’s what she has to say about her beloved business.

I’ve always loved flowers, so it seemed natural to go into floristry, particularly since I enjoy people too. Preparing arrangements and bouquets for all the special occasions in people’s lives – from birth through to eternal rest – is not only an artistic challenge, but also immensely rewarding, special and satisfying.

After gaining a Level 2 & 3 NVQ in Floristry I cut my teeth in the industry by working at various retail florists. All the while I had it in the back of my mind that I wanted to start my own business, where I could use my own style and creativity.

I took the plunge in 2007 and started taking and filling orders from home. Things went well, but there was still something missing! I realised I craved that daily contact with customers and colleagues, and the buzz of a busy shop. The logical next step was to find premises, which I did, opening in Frome, Somerset in March 2008 and then branching out – literally – to a second floristry shop in Warminster, Wiltshire in 2010.

Excuse the rather corny pun, but it’s safe to say The Little Flower Company has bloomed, and continues to grow! I take this – and all the positive testimonials I receive – as confirmation that I’m doing things right. In other words, I’m providing good customer service, the sort of arrangements, floral gifts, tributes and bouquets that people want and expect, and value for money.

I’m proud to run a successful independent business in two thriving south-west market towns, and it gives me great pleasure to be able to supply flowers to local people to use as gifts or a beautiful visual expression of love, caring, romance, sympathy, and respect.

I have now reached the stage where I can offer the convenience of ordering and paying for flower bouquets on The Little Flower Company website, for same day delivery (if you order before 3pm) to anywhere in and around Frome, Warminster and Westbury (including the local villages). We are also part of the international Interflora flower delivery network.

We provide floral services for Weddings, Funerals, Corporate, Gifts and Events. Our shop is located in Frome, with free parking on the doorstep. We work with a variety of funeral directors and wedding venues, including Adlams Funeral Directors and Orchardleigh House Wedding Venue of which we are a recommended supplier.
